Directions
From Boston: Come west on the Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 17 at the Sheraton Tara Hotel. At the end of the exit ramp, proceed straight alongside the hotel, moving to the right lane. Just beyond the hotel, the road forks. Stay right, following the sign toward West Newton, on Washington Street. Proceed just over 1 mile to light at Walnut Street. You will see our church building across the Pike on your left. Turn left, over the Pike, then take first left onto Newtonville Avenue.
From Points West: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 17 at the Sheraton Tara Hotel. At the end of the exit ramp, merge with traffic and move to the left lane. Follow the traffic loop around the hotel, crossing over to the north side of the Mass Pike. (Be careful not to get back onto the westbound Pike by mistake.) Follow the loop to the north side of the hotel and move to the right lane. Just beyond the hotel, the road forks. Stay right, following the sign toward West Newton, on Washington Street. Proceed just over 1 mile to light at Walnut Street. You will see our church building across the Pike on your Left. Turn left, over the Pike, then take first left onto Newtonville Avenue.
In the Church: 288 Walnut Street in Newton is an old stone church building with a funny modern steeple that sits immediately beside the Massachusetts Turnpike at the corner of Walnut Street and Newtonville Avenue. Boston-area residents will know it as the church near the Shaw's that sits over the Mass Pike in Newton. Our entrance is at the green awning on the Newtonville Ave. side of the church. Parking is available at the meters on the street or in the parking lot across from the Shaw's. HomePortfolio has offices on the 3rd floor.
