Julie Pietri

Left Quote

My design objective is to either help a client implement their creative vision or help them realize a new perspective altogether. I love the variety of creating inspiring spaces, at whatever budget, to reach a harmony of form and function. Like the creation of a piece of art, I am passionate about the weight and balance achieved through symmetry, geometry, and color.

My vision is a meritage of clean, bold, classic elements coupled with eclectic and unexpected compositions. I enjoy change and seek to embrace it as a dynamic element of the creative process in which everyone has a richer and fuller experience. Although Julie has been a designer since her days at Vanderbilt, she became a professional when she joined ASID in 1992. After working for several top design fi rms, she opened Julie Pietri Interiors in 1996. Julie has a unique vision and style that has evolved from her many interesting life experiences. Exposed to museum-quality art and antiques at a very young age, her solid, classic foundation formed the perfect base as she set out in the world to develop and hone her style. Extensive studies added to rich experiences and life abroad – helping to define the collaborative balance of form and function for which she is known.
