Anastasia's background as a painter and fine artist naturally led her to begin working as an interior designer. As she explains, "Interior design allows me to combine my love for fine materials, design and interior spaces with my skills as a painter and colorist." Likening the composition of a painting to the composition of an interior space, Anastasia approaches each new interior design project as a blank canvas, a place to create something new, fresh, inspiring, and beautiful.
Anastasia has a rich creative and artistic background. She earned her Masters in Fine Arts from the University of California at Berkeley in 2004 and prior to this she studied Art History at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis where she earned her Bachelors degree in Liberal Arts.
In 1994 Anastasia began her interior design career at the San Francisco Design Center (SFDC), where, for 10 years, she developed her expertise and knowledge in high-end wholesale furnishings. She says, "In my career at SFDC I became familiar with the nuts and bolts, ins and outs, of the San Francisco Bay Area interior design industry. I loved working with the finest materials and products available in the home furnishings market. Textiles, furniture, lighting and floor coverings all became my world of expertise and knowledge."
Her background as a fine artist combined with her hands-on experience in wholesale furnishings, allows Anastasia to offer clients a unique combination of artistic and creative vision.
