Since 1986, designer Irwin Weiner and his IWI team have provided architectural detailing, custom furnishings, built-ins, and decorating. Irwin's projects focus primarily on the East Coast, but his client base ranges from Hawaii to his native South Africa. IWI's mission is to create interiors, whether traditional or contemporary, which reflect the clients' personality and lifestyle. Irwin's work always leavens humor and eclecticism into his comfortable, luxurious rooms.
Irwin Weiner studied furniture making, architecture, fine art, and graphic design in Cape Town, South Africa. He was co-owner of an antique shop specializing in 18th and 19th Century English and Dutch Colonial pieces. He has an Interior Design degree from Fashion Institute of Technology, and is co-owner of the popular interior design website Design2Share.com as well as co-host of its Q&A video series.
IWI's published works include Architectural Digest, New York Times, Oprah Home, Women's Day, Area, Westchester Home, Better Homes & Gardens, Array, Gotham, and South Africa's Style. Irwin's Mid-Century Style, In a Country Manor,work for the Village Improvement Association of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Bucks County Designer House & Gardens was featured in the book Designer Showcase: Iterior Design At Its Best (Schiffer, 2006).
