Biography

Gail Green has been in the design field for 25 years, specializing in interior design, architecture, decoration, virtual design, and staging. Gail is founder and principal of Green & Company, Interior Designers and co-founder of Eastland Kitchen and Bath Design. Her most recent company, G2Virtual Home Design, specializes in virtual design.

Green & Company's main focus is high-end residential and commercial projects throughout the country. Attention to detail, timeless elegance, classical simplicity, and quality craftsmanship are the company's hallmarks. Gail's style, which she terms "The New Serenity," retains the best elements of modernism set within the idioms of the past. Her work has been widely published in magazines such as House Beautiful, House & Garden, Elle Décor, Architectural Digest, and The New York Times Sunday Magazine.

Gail has been a featured designer in the prestigious Kips Bay Show House, as well as the Southampton, Greenwich, and Southport Show houses. She has appeared on Elsa Klensch's CNN's Life Styles, NBC's Today show, and on House & Garden television. Her work has appeared in numerous interior design books and she is a much sought after lecturer. In addition to her successful interior design practice, Gail is a writer, scholar, and rare book connoisseur.

Gail received her Ph.D. in literature and interdisciplinary studies from Columbia University, and is a member of the Women's Forum, The Institute for Classical Architecture, the Yale Club of New York, the Princeton / Columbia Club of New York, and sits on the Board of the Decorator's Club.
