Susan Moncur

Susan believes that good design comes from the planning of one's environment, and solving special problems through a distinct process. Using the principles of design to exemplify good taste is universal, regardless of period or style. As individuals, our lifestyles are diverse, senses of taste and color differ, and spaces we live and work in are all unique. By using Susan's expertise and access to world markets, the client may celebrate that uniqueness.

South County Studio is a full-service company providing complete design and decoration services. This includes residential or commercial projects of all sizes, renovation designs and supervision, new construction design, color coordination and consultation. Of course, a full-line of product is available, including fabrics, furnishings, accessories, window and wall coverings. To successfully bring design elements together, Susan considers her job to one of communicator, interpreter, mediator, financial planner and project manager. It is her responsibility to help the client vocalize their needs, keep focused and eliminate costly mistakes. The ability to do this comes from experience and education.

South County Studio is owned by designer Susan Moncur. With a diploma in Interior Design, she has operated her own business since 1992. With offices in both the United States and Canada, Susan has been a regular contributor to Junior League showhouses, the Idea House, Art Gallery Kitchen and Garden Tour, and the Arts Council "Chair-ity".
