The ability of these great artists to create the right balance of clean lines, coupled with a material palette of warmth, made their work perfection. Like the masters, I am passionate about design and excited by good design.
Jaque Bethke is a Midwest born interior designer, whose unique aesthetics engage seamlessly with her keen eye, to make every space livable through the use of well-placed, unconventional objects. This vision was first realized during her tenure as a creative force with Wynn Design and Development Resorts. Drawing on her time as a student at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, together with her engineering background, allows Jaque to draw inspiration from the world around her and transform designs into unique 'one of a kind spaces.' A follower of Mies Van der Rohe and Neutra, Jaque tries to imagine what they might have done with the site, the client, and the materials.
Good design gives people a special sense of place, of self, and of the present. It should heighten one¿s sense of humor, serenity, mystery, and comfort. With the emergence of increased globalization, technology has produced even more dramatic and cinematic concepts in design and architecture with regards to scale and fantasy. To be successful in this field, Jaque believes you must be a born collaborator. Combining architecture and design allow Jaque to create unique atmospheres that exemplify her point-of-view, while leaving the undeniable imprint on each of her clients and influences.
Jaque has designed brilliant projects that have graced the editorial pages of both local and national magazines and has received many awards for both her commercial and residential designs.
