Mark Hoesterey, AIA, is a founding Principal and Designer at Stocker Hoesterey Montenegro Architects, PLLC. Mark received a Master of Architectural Design from Texas Tech University, with graduate studies concentrated in contextually responsible design and New Urbanism planning principles.
After seasonal internships in Colorado, Austin and Dallas, Mark joined a small, Dallas-based commercial firm for almost seven years and then a small residential firm for a few more years before joining David Stocker and Enrique Montenegro in founding Stocker Hoesterey Montenegro Architects, PLLC in 2005. Currently Mark enjoys designing and directing various residential and small "boutique" commercial projects in Dallas and Houston as well as various rural areas of Texas and Colorado.
Mark has given time and service through various involvements in his community. Mark is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Dallas Architectural Foundation and the White Rock Lake Conservancy. Mark has served recently on the Boards of the White Rock Boat Club, Texas Tech Architectural Alumni Association, his neighborhood association and a variety of other community organizations. Mark gets inspiration and enjoyment while spending time in the outdoors and on the water with his wife and two children.
Mark is a registered architect in the state of Texas, Colorado, and Florida. He is a member of Texas Society of Architects, U.S. Green Building Council, NCARB and the American Institute of Architects.
