Library
Private Transitional Green Home by Brenda Be
This large space was cold and uninviting. It needed to become warm and welcoming, and function as a multipurpose space. The owner refers to it as his 'library' which fulfills a lifelong dream, and indeed there is storage for many many books (room to grow beyond his existing collection). In addition the space functions as a relaxing private 'den' and a social 'salon' for entertaining, as well as a home office (there is a desk and file cabinet just outside the image), and even a guest room (the large leather sofa unfolds into a comfortable bed).
