2010 NKBA Design Competition - Best Bathroom Winner

Entering this master bathroom space feels like stepping into a five-star luxury spa. The sunny glowing monochromatic color palette warms the space as it provides a seamless transition from each task area into the next. The romantic environment the clients desired was assisted by subtle touches like a tub area filled by a stream of water from the ceiling, a tub decking area for candles and incense, and a small fireplace located within the glass container of the wing wall room divider. Smooth textured spa stones, floating cabinetry and a sand-etched glass closet door offer interesting and unique visual components with an unobtrusive simplicity that contributes to the relaxed environment.
