Three individual tray ceilings with bead board detailing help keep this large kitchen warm and inviting. A custom pewter hood and large, arched valance add warmth, which is accentuated by recessed lighting. The adjacent backsplash and granite-topped island play on the hue of the range hood. Symmetry helps organize the large space. The cooktop wall is anchored by refrigerator on one end and freezer on the other, with nearly identical cabinets on either side.
