Cantilevered beams are sloped to make the veranda more spatially open and inviting and to allow solar water heating panels for the pool to be flush to the roof and hidden from view. Louvers are angled for afternoon shade. A translucent glass fence brightens a previously dark space. A BBQ grill and stone counter allows for outdoor entertaining.
