The client originally had plans to remodel the existing attic space into a master bedroom suite and sitting area, but ultimately decided that adding a full second story would be more beneficial. In keeping with the bungalow style of the early 1900's, the architectural aesthetic was kept with the dormers and makes the home feel cohesive, without the space constraints of the more cramped, original attic.
