Victorian Kitchen

Homey Traditional Kitchen by Ken Burghardt

A large amount of dishes and serving pieces are stored in one of the tall cabinets and the other is for utility items. Upper cabinets were added across the entire area to augment the typical limited amount of storage in a San Francisco Victorian. A library rail and ladder were added for easy access. A deep, rich green marble was used on the island. A leather-finish granite in dark brown/burgundy tones was used on the buffet counter, range counter and range wall. A ceramic tile with decorative frieze was used on the wall at the buffet. Complimentary dark burgundy/brown wainscot wall covering and inlays in the stained glass windows were added to complete the concept.
