The coolness of gray, European porcelain tile etched with a subtle crosshatch surface treatment and horizontal, cool blue glass tile is warmed up when combined with warm beige paint and custom rosewood cabinetry. The striations in the rosewood and tile tie the two different materials together through their similar texture and as a result unite the otherwise disparate finishes. The horizontality established by the texture of the finishes is continued in the tile pattern in the shower. The finishes are complimented by sleek, square-edged, chrome fixtures including a luxurious rain showerhead.
