You could say ROSE TARLOW'S home is a grand illusion. Walking into her extraordinary Bel Air house, one imagines it's been here for centuries. Brown ivy creeps across the walls of the vast sitting room, at either end of which you'll find 17th-century Baronial French fireplaces. Yet this mosaic of architectural salvage, antiques, and artwork was conceived and built in just 14 months.
