- In his nine-year career as a chef, Bob is known for his contagious enthusiasm, which helps transform everyday meals into dining adventures. He has proved that anyone with a dysfunctional kitchen and mismatched place settings can throw a killer dinner party. Blumer has made more than 400 television appearances on three continents, including cooking segments on all three U.S. network morning shows and a series of his own Surreal Gourmet specials on The Food Network. He was recently profiled in People magazine and on CNN�s The World Today. Off the Eaten Path was awarded Most Innovative Cookbook (in English) at the prestigious World Cookbook Fair Awards held in Perigueux France.
