"O bed! O bed! Delicious bed! That heaven upon earth to the weary head! How blissful it is just to fall..." Thomas Hood perfectly conveyed the idea of the bedroom as a sanctuary, a blessed place for retreat, rest, and reverie. And so it should be. The bedroom is where you spend half your life — away from the other half that's filled with stress and strain. Of course, the idea of "heaven upon earth" can mean different things to different people. Just imagine falling into bed in any of these three chambers, and see which seems most like heaven to you.
