Design Themes: Best of Show, ICFF 2003

Europeans have a knack for making the most out of small space, a talent born out of necessity, since the average European livesin a condo.

Nowhere is this adaptive skill more celebrated than in the kitchen and bath, where making the most of every square inch really counts. Two Italian companies—Pedini and Snaidero—impressed us with their kitchen displays at ICFF. Built as freestanding components to be mixed and matched as you like, they are loaded with creative storage. Whimsical lighting helps lighten up a seriously stylish kitchen and both of our favorites add color to the mix.
