The paradox here is that an obviously expansive living space can feel intimate despite having close to 20-foot ceilings. The neutral palette and comfortable furnishings combine with an understated concrete fireplace to create a warm backdrop for personal accents. Continuity of color prevents separate sitting areas from feeling disjointed, yet smart demarkation of space also helps define the room. The end result: Synchronized simplicity.
