Color trends are cyclical, and track back to what's going on in the world. Case in point: The roaring '80s brought outrageous displays of colors in the form of flourescents and metallics, while the nesting '90s marked a return to muted and neutral shades. As people feel it's safe to return to their favorite colors, we'll see an expressive infusion of true reds and oranges in home design throughtout the remainder of this decade. Spicy shades such as the sienna sheme on display here bring a warm and inviting feel to the space, while eschewing the vanilla trappings of palettes past.
