Period Home Gains Simple Style

Although a period look wasn't Molly's goal, original features became even more prominent with her understated design.

Pocket doors of leaded and stained glass encased in rich mahogany create an elegant entrance to the dining room. Hepplewhite dining chairs from her husband's grandmother became user-friendly after Molly stripped their varnish, returning them to bare wood.
