"I just picked very simple things — cherry cabinets that are plain and honed gray marble countertops that you can sand the spots out of," says Molly.
Molly's all-new kitchen has a contemporary feel with its understated gray marble counters, unadorned cherry cabinets with simple metal pulls, and Italian lighting. She warmed up the walls with paint and the floors with maple. To get just the right caramel-pumpkin shade, one without too much orange, Molly tried 10 different paint colors.
