Larry Laslo began with Hermès orange walls and a brown plaid carpet. Then he punched up his space with overscaled celebrity portraits and chairs upholstered in hot pink, lime, orange, and yellow silk taffeta.
This stair landing is a tour-stopper, with black-and-white Herb Ritts and Horst photographs, floor-to-ceiling mirrors with Giacometti frames, and Laslo's Moderne Collection console and Arbus-style chairs, both for John Widdicomb.
