Home Sweet Houseboat

St. Paul, Minnesota

One of the biggest challenges the construction crew faced was the boat's curved walls and ceilings. The master bedroom is a woodworking masterpiece, with paneled walls custom-fit to accommodate this.

Builder Dave Nelson figures they used about 4,000 board feet of hardwood and 300 pounds of glue on the boat. "It's the equivalent of building fine furniture, and all the woodwork was done right on the boat," says owner Tim Forsythe.
