"Things had to be anchored down so they wouldn't slide around when the boat was in motion," says interior designer Shirley Scott of Gabberts.
As a result, she designed heavy built-in banquettes for the seating areas and selected a travertine stone-top table for the dining area. The marble counter area forms a clean divider between the kitchen and dining spaces.
