Cabinetry was designed and custom-made for each particular space.
The large kitchen called for two-tone flat panel cabinetry and a center island topped with soapstone. A two-sided fireplace looks through to a breakfast room, located in a newly built octagon-shaped tower. This tower, a trademark of the Victorian house style, also provides a well-lit enclosure for the son's bedroom upstairs.
