History in the Making

Lexington, Massachusetts

Tour this house
In a letter penned in 1904, David Ainsworth Tuttle describes, in chronological order, the 39 houses he built during his lifetime, primarily in Lexington.

The second on his list is the fully modernized, legendary estate of current owners Ranne and Raynor Warner. Two years of renovation and restoration by the family resulted in a home that successfully blends old and new.

"The fact that we could put a batting cage in the barn for our son was a big selling point..."

-Homeowner Ranne Warner
