A short entry hall connects the living room, dining area, and stairway leading to the upstairs bedrooms. Recessed niches in the walls hold flowers and candles.
The homeowners made the soil-cement "terra tiles" used throughout the home. You won't find mechanical heating and cooling systems; radiant heat warms the floors.
