Rural pleasures enticed Rex and Candra Seley to leave Boston behind for a circa-1690 farmhouse in the country.

It's a place for appreciating permanence and a slower pace. Here, the surrounding livestock and landscape can be surveyed at leisure, with none of the blur from a fast-speeding car.
