Great American Homes: Thanksgiving Farm

Great American Homes: Thanksgiving Farm

Rural pleasures enticed Rex and Candra Seley to leave Boston behind for a circa-1690 farmhouse in the country.

It's a place for appreciating permanence and a slower pace. Here, the surrounding livestock and landscape can be surveyed at leisure, with none of the blur from a fast-speeding car.

"When we decided this was the home for us, we immediately christened it 'Thanksgiving,' which means 'celebration of life.' "
–Candra Seley,
homeowner
