Located smack in the center of the home, the kitchen was designed with Phyllis' gourmet sensibilities in mind. Professional-quality appliances were selected, and materials were limited to three: oak, stainless, and granite.
"There's a lot going on in the kitchen, so my goal was to minimize chaos and use few materials to achieve a calm look," says Bob. It's not shown here, but in the corner of the kitchen sits a table by a bay window that highlights the yard beyond.
