The front facade is given depth from two new projections: the two-story entry in the center and the dining room/bedroom on the left.

Windows are larger and more numerous than in the original house, where the flat facade and narrow windows hark back to the industrial design of the 1920s and '30s. Curved lines and the multipaned front door soften the starkness of the original 1936 structure, which was flatter, more solid, and angular.
