Truly
a retreat, the master bedroom is accented with lively color in bold
stripes on the loveseat and comforter, and in urns, boxes, and vases
along glass-topped shelving. The boxy configuration of the built-ins
repeats the simple geometry of the windows above them.
Each bedpost is topped with a fanciful doorknob in swirling, sculpted
gold glass. Wool carpet covers the floor.
