Heavy Vanilla
from Bob Timberlake Paints

Milk paint is a centuries-old paint formula that gives an authentic look to furniture, woodwork, walls, floors, clapboard, and trim. This environmentally friendly, fade-resistant, durable coating is made of non-toxic natural milk products, lime, and earth pigments that adhere best to raw wood. Even with its limited applications, milk paint is by far the safest product to use as well as the one with the easiest clean-up.

Latex paint is available in all the various finishes for interior and exterior applications. This lead-free, water-based formula is durable, fast-drying, and easy to apply. Latex paint is the paint of choice for wall and ceiling surfaces.

Oil-based paint is the least friendly to the environment and comes with manufacturer warnings for application, clean-up, and disposal that should be carefully followed. Many paint professionals believe this formula offers the longest lasting, most fade-resistant color for interior and exterior use. Available in every finish, this slow-drying paint allows for smooth and even brush-stroke-free finishes. Oil-based paint is the paint of choice for all exterior applications and interior woodwork.
