Skip and Michelle decided they wanted an informal dining area off the kitchen, where guests could gather while their hosts cooked.
To keep the 40'-long-kitchen/casual dining room from appearing cavernous, Metzler used decorative ceiling molding and transom windows, designed by Skip, to break the plane and lower the visual line of the ceiling.
