The oak-constructed island is large enough so guests can gather to help in food preparation.
The island consists of signature Smallbone elements, such as built-in tray storage, hanging pot racks, and a floating chopping block that can be moved to conceal the chef's sink. It also accommodates an extra Miele dishwasher. Guests can sit at a nearby oval table custom-designed to match the island's bowed ends.
