To get the look and feel of the period, Skip and Michelle paid great attention to details, such as the ceiling and window treatments, the copper hood, and the earthy green tiles over the range.
Choosing appliances that were state-of-the-art but that wouldn't look out of place in a Prairie style kitchen took a lot of research. The Liepkes chose plum-brown appliances and custom panels.
