Gaggenau's modern history began in 1888, when the German factory began to produce enamelware, ranges, and coal and gas ovens. The factory was subsequently destroyed in World War II, but the company rebuilt and expanded its product line to include electric ranges, cooktops, and range hoods. Today Gaggenau has operations throughout Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East. Gaggenau USA was incorporated in 1980 and is headquartered in Huntington Beach, California.
