In a sunny studio in the historic Fort Point district of Boston, Birch & Willow has championed the "green" movement for the past decade. Skilled artists customize earth-friendly lamps, luminaries and shades, illuminating nature for home or commercial spaces. Inherently serene, the handmade lamps are remarkable arrangements of maple branches, magnolia twigs, grapevines, beach stones, and other natural materials. The local materials used for each lamp are recycled from nature: fallen branches, sea-tossed stones, and invasive vines clipped off struggling trees.
