NKBA Awards the Best Kitchen Designs
The National Kitchen & Bath (NKBA) designers have done it again, creating fantastic kitchens of all sizes and styles, each more than worthy of their award-winning status. Just when you start to think that there's nothing new in kitchen design, the NKBA reminds us of the magic that can happen when such standard components as cabinets, countertop, backsplash, and flooring are put in the hands of a true professional. As you'll see, the result is anything but standard.
Open Plan Kitchen: First Place
Country living, luxe edition, is exemplified in this 1820s riverside cabin in the woods. Wide pine wood and limestone flooring, mahogany cabinetry accented with mesquite, and Typhoon Green honed granite countertops round out the refined rustic look.
