This once commercial Revival-style building now houses contemporary loft spaces. Among them is this recently renovated, 2,500-square foot residence overlooking tree-lined Madison Square Park and featuring a view of the iconic Flatiron building. Designer Gail Shields-Miller makes artful use of tangerine, blue, and taupe to seamlessly unify each of the gracious rooms into a soothing, collective whole.

Master Bedroom Suite

Modern European floral wallpaper and overscaled upholstered furnishings provide just the right mix of traditional lines and whimsical details. At the foot of the custom bed, upholstered in taupe chenille and trimmed with nail heads, sits a one-of-a-kind Shields and Company kilim upholstered bench. The lumbar pillow picks up the tangerine in the bench upholstery. Lacquered cream night tables are topped with matching Murano lamps.
