Bath Trend: Tubs Inside the Shower

By Tiffany Adams

1/6

One of the hottest trends in bath design is placing the tub inside the shower area, and it's as practical as it is popular. Enclosing your bathtub within the shower's framework can cut your cleaning time in half, keep water from splashing all over your bathroom, and even save space. Here are six ways to try the trend in your own bath.

Double Occupancy

This shower and tub area was made for two. One person can enjoy a shower on the left-hand side of the space, while another enjoys a bath on the opposite side. A bench as well as area for hanging towels and storing essentials is centered in between the two. Two glass doors offer dual entry, while a tall, marble threshold defines the area and keeps water contained.
