One of Dahlhaus' most beloved pieces, the wonderful column mailbox above originated in Germany around 1889. By 1906 it was prominently displayed in front of the main post offices in 23 municipalities as the official collection box for the Posten Bendin (Postal Service). Made from solid sand cast aluminum it weights over 150 pounds.
