NewStone - Pietra Serena

The quarried version of this stone originates from the Italian region of Friuli. Rich in several densely compacted and reflective materials, its main characteristic is the presence of clear— nearly white— inclusions that cross the stone in all directions. These inclusions can limit the structural integrity of this particular stone. The veining is created by the reaction of zircon minerals with other minerals in the body.
