Hammered Arch Switchplate

This hand sculpted switchplate is made in cold cast copper. It is lightly sandblasted and then dipped in an acid bath. The acid oxidizes the copper to a rich charcoal patina. The patina is removed from the high points of the sculpture with 0000 steel wool, exposing and polishing the metal alloy. We can provide it in a variety of metals and finishes.
