Fleur-de-lis Switchplate

This hand sculpted switchplate is made in cold cast aluminum. It is lightly sandblasted and then dipped in an acid bath. The acid oxidizes the aluminum to a rich charcoal patina. The patina is removed from the high points of the sculpture with 0000 steel wool, exposing and polishing the metal alloy. We can provide it in a variety of metals and finishes.
