The elegant and timeless Aixoise mantel was originally carved in limestone. We discovered the original piece near Lyon, France. This circa 1750 mantel has a Louis XV appeal, featuring a prominent brow or Boudin along the edge of the lintel. The deep concave carving on the outer legs finishes this exquisite mantelpiece.
