Centaur Wood Sculpture

This hand carved sculpture is titled "Piercing the Son". It is based from the astrological story of Sagitarius shooting an arrow at the sun. This represents Pontius Pilot's soldiers peircing the side of Jesus while on the cross. It is made from mahogany wood. The sculpture dimensions are 20 inches high, 14 inches wide and 12 inches deep. The base is a maple burl that is the a shape of a fish.
