Tea Time

Lorenzo Rubelli at Bergamo

Liseré, Rubelli has reintroduced a figured fabric with an oriental theme which brought to the West during the time of the Indies Company, took the name of “chinoiserie”. These patterns are found again in the decoration of majolica by various European makers, from which the Tea Time theme has been taken.
