Dining Table #2

Nico Yektai

Dining Table #2 is a 10 foot long table made of massive ash components. They are organized with a sensitivity that lends the resulting table a number of stand out features. Among the most unusual is the dynamic movement that the legs capture. This seems like a table in motion. The other immediately apparent feature is the raised section in the center of the table. This island erupts from the surface in an unusual way. The raised surface is functional too as it can absorb the brunt of food > MORE service and candle wax and be easily refinished separate from the rest of the table.
